Waiting, waiting, waiting in Port Hardy

On May 19th, I sent out this message...We’re currently in a holding pattern in Port Hardy at the north end of Vancouver Island. The weather (we’re most concerned about wind and waves) out in Queen Charlotte Sound is iffy so we’re playing it safe. So far we’re not too frustrated in part because of our well-honed piddling skills. It does mean I’ve had time to work on pics and make the walk to Guidos (love it) for coffee and wifi.

Evening, Port Harvey BC - MC anchored here for the nite.
Alert Bay, Cormorant Is., BC - Great First Nations museum here.
Johnstone Straits, a bit “lumpy” going into Port Harvey
Glassy Johnstone Straits, a day later
And then there were the eagles - above, a feeding frenzy outside of Alert Bay.
Sodden eagles, Port Hardy
River eagle, Port Hardy
Masthead eagle, Port Hardy
